National Backward Krishi Vidyapeeth

There is a natural lake on the top of a hill known as Saru lake. The lake water gets accumulated due to ice and rainwater from the surroundings.

It takes about 4 hours to reach Chanshal Valley from Rohru. The local stations between Rohru to Chanshal are Samoli, Seeman, Badiara, Chirgaon, Sandasu, Tikkri and Larot.

The Chanshal valley has been identified as a potential destination for ski sports. The Government of Himachal Pradesh has proposed the construction of a ski resort in the area.[1][2]
