Charanjit Singh Channi is an MLA for Chamkaur Sahib in Indian Punjab,[1] and the leader of the Punjab unit of the Congress Party.[2] He belongs to the Dalit community and was appointed as Congress Party leader in Punjab in December 2015 at the age of 43.[3]
