Cheryl Hayashi is a biologist at University of California, Riverside[1] who specializes in the genetic structure of spider silk.[2]

Life

A professor at UC Riverside since 2001, she received her Ph.D from Yale University in 1996.

She was a speaker at TED 2010 Conference.[3][4]

Awards

She was the recipient of the MacArthur Fellowship Program in 2007.[5]
