The chestnut-backed jewel-babbler (Ptilorrhoa castanonota) is a species of bird in the Cinclosomatidae family. It is found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
