Chimere Ikoku

Chimere Eyo-Ita Ikoku, late professor of Pure and Industrial Chemistry, was the 8th Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and the first Vice Chancellor of UNN to serve full two term.[1] The department of Pure and Industrial Chemistry held her First Professor Chimere Ikoku Memorial Lecture / Department of Pure And Industrial Chemistry Homecoming in his honour.[2][3] He was murdered in his house at Enugu, on 31 October 2002.[4][5]
