Chriselle Almeida is an actress of Indian origin. She was born in Mumbai, India, raised in Fairfield, CT, and currently lives in Los Angeles. Her role as a Bollywood starlet who has an affair with a female journalist in When Kiran met Karen caused some controversy in India.[1] She also played a prospective bride for Raj Koothrappali but turns out to be a closet lesbian in The Big Bang Theory episode, "The Transporter Malfunction". Other credits include "Grey's Anatomy", "Melissa and Joey", "Gossip Girl" and "Sex and the City 2" and commercials including Verizon, Bank of America, and Toyota.
