Cast

Critical reception

The New York Times wrote, "despite its cast, melodramatic ingredients and title, it is still an unexciting and largely placid adventure";[3] while more recently, Dennis Schwartz wrote of the film, "Though routine, the highly skilled Tourneur does his best to keep it lively, watchable and enjoyable."[4]
