Claire Barclay (b. 1968) is a Scottish artist. Her work crosses installation, sculpture and printmaking and often uses craft techniques to explore materials and space[clarification needed].[1][2]

Early life and education

Claire Barclay attended Glasgow School of Art where she focused on environmental art.[3]

Career

In 2003, Barclay represented Scotland in the Venice Biennale.[3] She was the focus of a solo exhibition at the Tate Britain in 2004.[4]
