Coffee Stain Studios AB is a video game developer and publisher based in Skövde, Sweden. The company was founded in 2010 by students of the University of Skövde. On 16 December 2010, their first title, I Love Strawberries, was released for iOS through the App Store by Atari, Inc.

Their second game, Sanctum was initially developed as a modification for Unreal Tournament 3. Coffee Stain entered the "Make Something Unreal" competition held by Epic Games in 2009, and were awarded with multiple honors.

On 23 March 2011, the company signed a five-year agreement with Epic Games to develop games using Unreal Engine,[1] and released Sanctum on 15 April 2011.
