Cognitive Systems Research (ISSN 1389-0417) is an international peer-reviewed academic journal devoted to cognitive science.

The journal is published by Elsevier Science, with the first volume published in 1999.[1] The editors in chief are R. Sun of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and V.G. Honavar or Iowa State University, Ames.
