The Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) is the IEEE annual conference on computer vision and pattern recognition.

CVPR was first held in San Francisco in 1985. Since 2001 the conference has an overall acceptance rate of around 30%. The acceptance rate for paper with an oral presentation is below 10% since 2001 and a very low acceptance rate of below 5% since 2006. It is considered as a conference with a very high impact factor[1] and high rank conference by various conference ratings[2].
