The Consortia Advancing Standards in Research Administration Information (CASRAI) is an international, non-profit organisation "dedicated to reducing the administrative burden on researchers and improving business intelligence capacity of research institutions and funders".[1] Founded in 2006, it is a corporation registered in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada,[2] and is overseen by a board whose chair is Janet Halliwell, Principal of J.E. Halliwell Associates Inc.[3]

CASRAI uses standards committees and review circles to develop and maintain data standards for use by researchers and funders.
