Convictions is an episode from the third season of the science-fiction television series Babylon 5.

Synopsis

A series of random bombings threaten the station, with one explosion seriously injuring Lennier. Lennier saved Mollari from the explosion and was injured in his place. This affects Mollari deeply.

Londo and G'Kar are trapped in an elevator by an explosion. G'Kar states that rather than work with Londo to save them both, he'd rather just sit there and watch Londo die, even if it costs him his life, too. To G'Kar's disappointment, they are rescued.

Brother Theo and a group of Monks from Earth arrive on Babylon 5. There are other pilgrimages to Babylon 5 seen in this episode as the news of Kosh's appearance spreads to the religious communities of various civilizations.

Arc significance

  • Religious men and women come aboard, a reference to the final episode of the second season.

Production details

  • Lennier says that he has Netter's Syndrome to scare off an obnoxious man. This is in reference to series executive producer Douglas Netter.
