Coppervale (formerly, Copper Vale)[2] is an unincorporated community in Lassen County, California.[1] It is located 6 miles (9.7 km) east-northeast of Westwood,[2] at an elevation of 5203 feet (1586 m).[1]

The Copper Vale post office operated from 1864 to 1867, and from 1868 to 1886, and from 1890 to 1894 when it changed its name to Coppervale.[2] The Coppervale post office moved in 1901 and was closed for good in 1914.[2]
