Cornelius Sim

Cornelius Sim (born 16 September 1951) is the current Vicar Apostolic of the Catholic Apostolic Vicariate of Brunei,[1] and Titular Bishop of Putia in Numidia.[2] Born in Brunei, Sim became the country's second ordained local priest in 1989 (the first was Rev. Ivan Fang). In October 2004, he was appointed as the Vicar Apostolic of Brunei, and on 21 January 2005, was consecrated by Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio (thus becoming a bishop).[3] He is of Chinese descent.[4]
