Corpus Christi Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency medical services to the city of Corpus Christi, Texas. The department protects a population of approximately 320,000 residents, and responds to an area of 460 square miles (1192 km2). It is also the 7th largest department (by number of firefighters) in the state of Texas.
