Coyote Dam, is a 140-foot (43 m) high, 980-foot (300 m) long, earth and rock dam built in 1936 in Santa Clara County, California, USA, located at 37°07′05″N 121°33′00″W / 37.118°N 121.55°W / 37.118; -121.55 north of Gilroy.

It impounds the 635 acre 3.5 mile long Coyote Lake (also known as Coyote Reservoir).[1] The Santa Clara Valley Water District owns the dam.[2]
