Crazy Mixed Up Pup is a 1955 cartoon directed by Tex Avery and produced by Walter Lantz. It won an Academy Award. This is considered to be the funniest out of the 4 shorts (1954-55) Avery made at Lantz.

Plot

A man named Samuel and his pet dog Rover, who are both hit by an ambulance whilst crossing the street. Samuel and Rover are accidentally given their opposite plasmas. As the cartoon continues, Samuel begins to take on more doglike attributes, while Rover takes on more human attributes. Both cause strife in their home. Which annoys Samuel's wife, Maggie.
