Cromeria is a small genus of fish in the Kneriidae family found in fresh waters in the Sudan, Mali, and Guinea in the Nile and Niger Rivers of Africa. The size of males reaches up to 3.5 cm in the case of C. occidentalis. The currently recognized species are:[2]
