Custom Builder is a trade publication and web site owned by Reed Business Information serving the information needs of firms in the residential building industry.
Established in 1991, Custom Builder magazine was originally published bimonthly. From January 2006, a seventh issue in April was added to their editorial calendar.
Common topics in the magazine include design ideas, business builder solutions, and innovations. In 2007, Custom Builder posted three webcasts in April, September, and November covering labor issues, green building and customer satisfaction.
In June 2008, total BPA circulation was 34,145 subscribers.
In 2010 Reed Business Information sold the magazine to MB Media.[citation needed]
