Czaple [ˈt͡ʂaplɛ] (German: Neu Tschöpeln, 1936-1945: Birkenstedt (Oberlausitz)) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Trzebiel, within Żary County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, close to the German border.[1]

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
