DXTY, branded as Radyo5 101.1 News FM Zamboanga is a news FM radio station in Zamboanga City, the Philippines. The station is owned by the Nation Broadcasting Corporation, a subsidiary of PLDT Beneficial Trust Fund's broadcasting division MediaQuest Holdings.

History

  • In 1979, DXTY-FM 101.1 was first launched as MRS DXTY 101.1 playing adult contemporary hits.
  • In 1998, DXTY-FM rebranded as Tony @ Rhythms 101.1, playing Classic Hits from the 50s and 60s.
  • In 2011, it was reformatted again as Radyo5 101.1 News FM as a news and talk station. It began simulcasting Manila's Radyo5 92.3 News FM until 2014, which this station is now inactive.
