DXWR, under the brand 96.3 iFM Music and News Zamboanga, is a news/talk and music FM station owned and operated by Radio Mindanao Network in the Philippines. The station's studio is located at 2nd Floor, Zameveco Bldg., Pilar Street, Zamboanga City.

History

  • DXWR-FM 96.3 Zamboanga started its operations in 1978.
  • In 1986, it was rebranded as Smile Radio 96.3.
  • In 1999, the station flipped into a CHR station and rebranded as 963 WRFM, with its slogan, "Live It Up!".
  • In 2002, DXWR-FM rebranded as 96.3 iFM flipping into a masa format carrying a Hot AC format.
  • On June 25, 2018, the station was rebranded as 96.3 iFM Music and News. Its format was changed to a hybrid mix of news/talk and music, making it quite similar to the programming offered by its AM sister station, DXRZ 900. It now competes with longer-established rivals 89.9 Brigada News FM and e105.9 eMedia Mo FM.
