History

DXYZ is the first ever radio station of the network Nation Broadcasting Corporation under Abelardo Yabut, which started broadcasting in 1963 using a surplus transmitter he bought from Deeco Electronics, until PLDT media subsidiary MediaQuest Holdings bought NBC from the consortium led by the Yabut family and real estate magnate Manny Villar in 1998. It has known as NBC DXYZ Radyo 963 later Angel Radyo 963 in the 1990s. In 2005, The Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) leader, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy purchased all of NBC AM radio stations including DXYZ and rebranded "Sonshine Radio".
