Daio Powell (9 March 1973) is an English former professional rugby league footballer of the 1990s and 2000s. He played at representative level for Wales, and at club level for Bradford Northern, Wakefield Trinity, Western Reds, Halifax, both the original, and current Sheffield Eagles clubs, and Keighley Cougars, as a wing, or centre, i.e. number 2 or 5, or, 3 or 4.

Background

Powell was born in Leeds, West Riding of Yorkshire.

International honours

Daio Powell won caps for Wales while at Bradford Northern 1994(…1998?) 1(4?)-caps + 2-caps (interchange/substitute) 2-tries 8-points.[1]
