The Dalton Cache Port of Entry, also known as the Pleasant Camp Border Crossing, is a Canada–US border crossing located on the Haines Highway, connecting the communities of Haines, Alaska and Haines Junction, Yukon. The route, formerly known as the Dalton Trail, has been used for centuries by the indigenous people of the region and was heavily used during the 1898 gold rush. In 2009, Haines Highway was declared a National Scenic Byway.[1]
