Dancing Eyes is an arcade game that was released by Namco in 1996 only in Japan. It was conceived by The Outfoxies designer, Masateru Umeda. You control a small monkey walking around a grid placed across a 3D model while breaking the "tiles" (usually clothing, but can also be boxes, barrels, curtains, etc.) off the grid while avoiding enemies.

Cancelled Namco Generations reboot

It was getting a reboot game as part of the Namco Generations brand. Unlike other "Namco Generations" brand games, this one was only going to be for PlayStation Network (PlayStation 3) (other Namco Generations games were also released on Xbox Live Arcade). This reboot was only announced for Japan before it was cancelled.[1]
