I believe that the article is informative, it is factual, and it cites major news sources like the Globe & Mail the Coast and the National Post. I am new to wikipedia and posting on here, so I did not do a good job referencing and citing the article the first time around. This time I had better references.

'''Danila Botha''' (born October 14th 1982) is a South African author and journalist who was born in Johannesburg and moved to Toronto, Canada in her teens. She studied Creative Writing at York University, and at Humber College for Writers. She volunteered with Na-me-res and Ve’ahavta, organizations benefiting the homeless, which inspired many of the stories in Got No Secrets, her first book, published by Tightrope Books in Canada, and Modjaji Books in South Africa in May 2010. The stories, which deal with addiction, abuse, suicide, and childhood are journeys into the private lives of twelve women. The Globe and Mail’s Jim Bartley described it as: “ripping-away the reassurances of the imaginary. Botha plunges you into a psyche in the process of abandoning everything sustaining - school, friendship, family, food - in favour of the quickest route to the next tab of E or hit of heroin….[Her characters] come to us in a voice drained of emotion, her account of domestic atrocities chilling in its dry simplicity and candor”

Danila Botha (born October 14th 1982) is a South African author and journalist who was born in Johannesburg and moved to Toronto, Canada in her teens.

According to Shannon Webb Campbell of Halifax’s The Coast newspaper, “Botha’s prose packs a punch. She avoids tying up her stories in a bow. She trusts all darkness brings light, though it isn’t always in plain sight.”

She currently lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is finishing her second book, a novel called Too Much on the Inside. She is also beginning work on her first graphic novel.

She is represented by Meghan Macdonald of the Transatlantic Literary Agency in Canada.

She has contributed to the National Post’s the Afterword, and Salty Ink, among others.
