Danny Bowes

Daniel John ‘Danny’ Bowes was born on 14 April 1960, in West Ham, Essex, England.

Education

Bowes was educated at Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College.

Life and career

Bowes is the lead singer with the rock act, Thunder.[1] Previously, he was a member of Nuthin' Fancy, 1980s group Terraplane, as well as occasionally playing the odd gig or two with his group Danny and the Doowops. Danny has also recorded with his Thunder colleague Luke Morley (in Bowes and Morley), will be performing with another bandmate Ben Matthews (as Danny & Ben) for several concerts in early 2012[2] and has contributed vocals to an album by Dean Howard who was previously with T'Pau. He also currently hosts a show on Planet Rock.
