In 2008, he contributed in the creation of the non-party list "Amici di Beppe Grillo" (Friends of Beppe Grillo) in Rome for the municipal elections in 2008. He was involved in the election campaign, the set-up and management of the online communities as well as cultural events.
He was the first signatory of the three referenda on "Free information in a free state" together with Beppe Grillo (2nd V-day).

In 2013 he volunteered in the parliamentary group of the Five Star Movement in one of the Chambers of the Italian Parliament (Camera dei Deputati), as an assistant on environment, energy and finance issues with the specific focus on the legislation of electric vehicles. Since 2014 he cooperates with the local group in Rome of the Five Star Movement on environment, food security and on circular economy.
