Dark Train: Coupe is an upcoming visual novel by Paperash Studio. It is a prequel to Dark Train. The game was announced on 16 May 2017.[1]

Development

The game was announced on 16 May when Steam Greenlight campaign was launched.[1][2]

Gameplay

The game is opposite to the original Dark Train. While Dark Train was a nontextual adventure game, DarkTrain: Coupe is a visual novel told through dialogues and text. Player is sometimes given opportunity to make a decision that will influence game's progress and eventually the ending. The game itself is non-linear.[3][4][5] Whole gameplay is supposed to be textual.[2]

Story

The main character is Ann Tagrezbung before she became mechanical squid from original Dark Train and still was a human. Whole game is set in Border City.[6][7]
