Dave's Killer Bread is an American company based in Milwaukie, Oregon, which makes organic whole-grain breads. It was founded in 2005 by Dave Dahl,[1] who learned the baking trade growing up in his family bakery. The company has steadily grown, expanding from 30 employees to more than 190 by 2010[2] and to 280 by the end of 2012, and has been covered by The New York Times[2] and MSNBC.[3] As of 2012, its bread was being sold at stores in 11 western states.[1]

In July 2015, Flowers Foods purchased the company for $275 million.[4]
