David Roger "Dave" Watkins (born March 15, 1944 in Owensboro, Kentucky) is a former Major League Baseball player. Watkins played for the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1969 season. In 69 games, Watkins had 26 hits in 148 at-bats, with a .176 batting average. He batted and threw right-handed.

He was signed by the Detroit Tigers as an amateur free agent in 1963.
