"Dazzey Duks"
Song

"Dazzey Duks" was the lead single released from Duice's debut album Dazzey Duks.

Released in early 1993, "Dazzey Duks", which was about the jean shorts popularized by Daisy Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard, quickly became a hit, reaching No. 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200. The single reached gold and platinum status within months of its release before reaching double platinum status on January 27, 1994 for sales of over 2 million copies, an impressive feat as the single was released through a small independent label called Tony Mercedes Records and distributed by Bellmark Records. "Dazzey Duks" was one of the most popular singles of the year and reached No. 16 on the Billboard Year-End Hot 100 singles of 1993.
