Geoffrey Dean Hodgson (born 22 October 1966) is a former English cricketer. Hodgson was a right-handed batsman. He was born at Carlisle, Cumberland.[1] Studied at Loughborough University 1985-88 ; Human Biological Sciences. Played and coached abroad during a 10-year professional career in Australia, South Africa and Argentina, having also made Cricket tours to Sri Lanka, Namibia & Kenya. MCC Member since 1986, being selected to tour Namibia, Sweden, the Netherlands (as Captain), Ghana and The Gambia. Other countries played in Bermuda, Barbados. Currently lives in Bristol and works as a Senior Investment Manager with Investec in Bath, since retiring in 1996 having been released by Gloucestershire in 1995.
