The Delhi International Arts Festival is an annual festival which takes place in Delhi, India. It presents artistic performances from around the world.

History

The Delhi International Arts Festival was founded in 2007 as a private-public partnership venture. The founders were Parvez Dewan, Lalit Mansingh, Chinmay Ghare Khan, S.K. Aggrawal, Prathibha Prahlad, Ram Nivas Mirdha, Sangeet Natak Akademi, Pavan K Varma, Aruna Vasudev and Shanta Serbjeet Singh.

In 2014 the festival presented the Maria Kong dance ensemble.[1]

In 2015 the festival was held at the Purana Quila and directed by Prathibha Prahlad. [2] The focus that year was Indo-African fusion.[3]
