Deliverance Creek is an American Civil War Western film that was premiered on the Lifetime Network on September 13, 2014.[1] It was produced, but not written by Nicholas Sparks.[2] The movie is described as having a hodge podge of cobbled together storylines.[1][3] The movie is described as a backdoor pilot.[1][4] Melissa Carter won The Writers Guild of America Award in 2015 for Outstanding Script, in the "Original Long form" category for Deliverance Creek.[5]
