Dendropsophus garagoensis is a species of frog in the family Hylidae. It is endemic to Colombia. Its natural habitats are swamps, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, pastureland, rural gardens, heavily degraded former forest, seasonally flooded agricultural land, and canals and ditches.
Etymology
The frog has been found in and named after Garagoa, Boyacá.[1] Garagoa means in Muysccubun "behind the hill" or "on the other side of the hill".[2][3]
