Derek Gibbs is the current bass player for Reel Big Fish,[1] and the now defunct Forces of Evil and Jeffries Fan Club. He was chosen to replace the band's previous bass player Matt Wong, who left the band to spend more time with his family and newborn child. Gibbs appeared on the band's tour in support of the album Monkeys for Nothin' and the Chimps for Free, and also appeared in the music video for Party Down.
