Richard Arthur Smith (born May 17, 1939 in Lebanon, Oregon) was an Outfielder and First Baseman in Major League Baseball who played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets from 1963 to 1965. Larry Miller was traded by the Los Angeles Dodgers to the New York Mets for Smith on October 15, 1964. [1]
