Diocles of Messenia (Greek: Διοκλῆς) was an ancient Greek athlete from Messenia who won the stadion race in the seventh Ancient Olympic Games in 752 BC.[1] The stadion race (about 180 meters) was the only competition in the first 13 Olympiads.
