Diva is the tenth studio album by Serbian singer Jelena Karleuša. It was released on 11 June 2012 via City Records. It is the fastest album on the Balkans to be certified gold: selling 200.000 copies during the first 24 hours.

Background

In early 2010., Karleuša announced that she’s planning to release a new studio album, after releasing "Insomnia", the lead single of the album. The single was downloaded over 1.5 million times during the first 24 hours of its release. The music video was released later in that year. She also released singles "Muškarac koji mrzi žene", "Nova religija (Plava Šeherezada)", "So" and her biggest hit "Krimi rad".

On the 9th of June 2012, two days before the official release of the album, Serbian news portal "Opera 17" posted the preview of all eleven songs from the album.[1]
