Doubt is an upcoming American television drama series created by Tony Phelan and Joan Rater, and stars Katherine Heigl and Steven Pasquale in the lead roles. The series, set to air on CBS during the 2016–2017 television season, was ordered to series on May 14, 2016.[1] The series will premiere on February 15, 2017 on CBS.[2]

Cast and characters

Production

The series was originally slated in for the 2015–16 television season, originally casting KaDee Strickland and Teddy Sears in the lead roles. However, when CBS decided to retool the pilot, Heigl and Pasquale were re-cast in the lead roles. The series was retooled for the 2016–17 television season, and was picked up on May 14, 2016.[3]

The show is significant since it will be the first broadcast series featuring a transgender series regular character played by a transgender actress, Laverne Cox.[1]
