Born March 8, 1973 Doug Lussenhop a.k.a. DJ Douggpound is an American DJ, video editor and comedian.[1][2] He is known for his unique, irreverent video editing style[3] and his work on the G.I. Joe PSAs,[4] Tim and Eric, the Eric Andre Show and Portlandia.[5][6] He has edited with music provided by the band TRS-80.[7] As DJ Douggpound, he often tells jokes to lead musical numbers.[8] Like his video editing, Lussenhop's audio mixes are also irreverent, such as remixing National Public Radio.[9]

He attended the College of DuPage[10] and Columbia College Chicago where he studied film,[7] and cites Monty Python[4] and David Lynch[11] as influences. During college he would shoot wedding videos and edit them.[10] After college he lived in an art gallery in Chicago.[4]
