He was born on April 9, 1930 in the town of Lovech. He graduated from medicine in the city of Sofia in 1955. He acquired a specialty in eye diseases in 1967. He worked as a resident in children's diseases in the city of Lovech, deputy chief physician of the polyclinic department at the District Hospital in the city of Lovech, from 1963 - head of the "Public Health" department at the National Health Service, and from 1970 - chief physician of the District Hospital in the town of Lovech.
He specializes in eye diseases as deputy chief physician and head of the "Public Health" department, Ph.D. in 1980, equivalent to date - doctor of medical sciences.
There are scientific publications on the application of the herpes vaccine in herpes keratitis - a problem on which he also wrote his candidate's thesis. Honored doctor since 1986.
He retired in 1990, continuing to work in private practice as an ophthalmologist and optician.
He passed away on December 6, 2022 at the age of 92.
