Abdullah Jangda is one of the founding members and Vice President of Qalam. Since 2009, Abdullah has worked as a photographer, cinematographer and marketing consultant for notable companies and organizations around the country. He established Salam, a media and marketing firm in 2009. Over the last 16 years, Abdullah has lead Taraweh in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area and now organizes and coaches young Huffadh during Ramadan at his local mosque.
Early life
[edit]Abdullah Jangda was born & raised in Arlington, TX. At a young age he traveled to Karachi, Pakistan to study Quran. He completed his Hifdh at age 11. He returned to the US to continue his education and later graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with Bachelor’s Degrees in Business Management & Communications Technology. Along with his college education, Abdullah had the opportunity to study cinematography with notable filmmakers like Alex Buono, Vincent Laforet, & Shane Hurlbut, ASC.
