Draft:Brian Kivanani Kasuti

Brian Kivanani Kasuti, also known as Brian Kasuti, is a young Kenyan author and engineer born on December 30th in the western part of Kenya, Kakamega County, Matete sub-county. Kasuti is the second last born in a family of ten (four boys and six girls).

He attended Kivaywa Primary School for elementary education between 2007 and 2014. In 2010, while in Standard 4, Kasuti alludes to have experienced a pivotal moment that redirected his life's trajectory. Overhearing a conversation among seniors during break time, he was struck by the statement, "there's no way one could study hard and end up failing an exam." This sparked a reawakening within him, propelling him to take his studies seriously. Implementing a newfound learning technique, he emerged as the second position in his classroom in the ensuing exam, a feat he attributes to the motivation from the senior's remark.

Realizing his academic potential, Kasuti continued to excel through standards five and six. In standard seven, faced with increased competition due to over-enrollment from private schools, he intensified his efforts to maintain his position, ultimately becoming the top student for the first time. He maintained this record throughout standard seven and eight, achieving remarkable success academically, including twice emerging as the best Sub-county student in the then Matete Sub-county examinations. Despite his outstanding performance, he fell short of securing Kivaywa Primary a top position in the 2014 KCPE, scoring 365 marks out of 500.

Brian Kasuti proceeded to Kivaywa High School, an unexpected choice that significantly influenced his future. Despite facing financial challenges, he maintained high academic standards, consistently ranking among the top five students throughout high school. His perseverance paid off when he graduated in 2018 with an impressive B+ grade, earning distinctions in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, English, and CRE. This achievement granted him admission to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Machakos University.

During his time at Machakos University, Brian Kasuti discovered his passion for writing. In 2023, he published his debut novel, "Against All Odds," marking the beginning of his literary journey. He is currently engaged in writing multiple books and exploring scientific inventions.
