Brianne Nord-Stewart is a Canadian film and television director originally from Edmonton, Alberta.[1] She has directed episodes of the digital series "The Dangers of Online Dating", "Young & Reckless and the short films "Trolls", "Shit Sponge", and "Beat Around the Bush".

Her shorts and digital series have screened globally with acquisitions by Canal+, RAI, Comcast, and Movie Central.

Nord-Stewart is the recipient of a Leo Award,[2] the Shaw Media Fearless Female Director Award,[3] and the Encore Vancouver Newcomer Award from Women in Film and Television Vancouver.[4]

In 2017, Nord-Stewart was named one of Canada's Top Female Directors by IMDB along with Sarah Polley and Deepa Mehta.

She is an alumna of Women in the Director's Chair[5] and the National Screen Institute[6] and a member of the Director's Guild of Canada.[7]
