C/2024 T1 (P/Rankin) Is a short period comet discovered by David Rankin on October 2nd, 2024.[1] At the time of discovery, it had an apparent magnitude of 20, with a 3" coma and 6" tail. It passed perihelion on 8 October, 2024, at a distance of 2.3 au.[2]
