Camp Wilderness Scout Camp is a Scouting America camp in Park Rapids, MN for Scouts BSA and Venturing in Northern Lights Council. The camp was created by Herman Stern in 1946, and has been around for generations. The camp is home to 2,400 acres worth of wilderness and is also on a lake. kayaking, swimming, woodworking, metalworking, archery, shooting ranges, and much more are things to do. The area is also home to Butler Wilderness Outpost, the Cub Scouts alternative which is much smaller. There are many traditions at Camp Wilderness such as their closing campfire ceremony [1]
